"You'll be as comfortable in our stores as you'll be in our clothes."

That's our motto at Miltons. But it's far more than just an advertising slogan -- it's a concept that reflects the way we've been doing business in New England for more than 70 years.

Since 1947, when Isadore Katz and his sons Milton and Nathan opened their first location in Quincy, Massachusetts, Miltons has been uniquely successful at building relationships with our customers that have lasted for generations -- all while offering an unparalleled shopping experience to match the quality and value of our clothing. In Miltons' earliest days, the store catered to the large number of World War II veterans who needed new wardrobes for the next chapter of their lives after returning home from overseas. Today, we continue that legacy of being there for our customers at all of life's big moments. From a young man’s communion or bar mitzvah, to making sure the groom looks his best at the altar, or just putting together the perfect outfit for the recent graduate with the big job interview, our knowledgeable sales associates and expert tailors understand just what it takes to make our customers look good -- and feel good, too.

Miltons is still family and locally owned and operated, now run by Isadore's grandson and Milton's son Dana. Our two locations in Chestnut Hill Square and Braintree's South Shore Plaza serve greater New England seven days a week, almost 365 days a year. In 2013, we completed an expansion of our Chestnut Hill Square store and now boast over 15,000 square feet of menswear and boyswear in each location. Because we know our stores are not always within reach, we have launched an e-commerce site to make Miltons even more accessible to you. Our site is a work in progress and we aim to create the same type of shopping experience on-line as you enjoy in-store. More wonderful product and categories will be added each season, so check back often! We look forward to the opportunity to take care of you both in person and on-line for many years to come.
